Built this bike with parts found around the garage. All started when i saw on Aliexpress this 3 speed freewheel (6€), everything else il found and adapted. The derailleur is from my mum bike(don’t worry she have a new derailleur istead).

I wouldn’t trust Aliexpress for anything except lights on my bike. Buy reliable mechanical components.
FYI, you’re allowed to cut off the extra cable from the brakes and derailleur.
Well if the freewheel beaks the worst thing that can happen is that I can not pedal to home, for the frame is a little different, but he wanted to try, it’s a 600€ frame and he wanted to see how durable it would be, it’s currently 1 year old but it’s not used every day, more like casual rides on Saturday… so yes, if you want to by 6€ freewheel I think it’s ok, but the frame…
