I was on the road today and spotted this heavy truck with two big signs on the back reminding drivers to keep 1.5 meters of distance from cyclists.
What surprised me is that it wasn’t just some small delivery van in the city, but a full-sized truck loaded with cargo, out on an open highway.
I thought it was pretty encouraging to see road safety messaging like this coming from such a big vehicle, especially in a place where cycling infrastructure is not always respected.

Cyclist trucker?
Sadly, it’s more likely reminding cyclists to keep 1.5m from vehicles, especially him, because he as very big blind spots, and if he hits you, you ain’t coming out in one piece or alive
I reminded a driver of this requirement the other day by stretching my arm out to show how much space I needed. The driver hit my hand and then yelled abuse at me!
