Hey everyone 👋

I’m building a cycling sock brand and I’d love some honest input from fellow riders. I put together a short anonymous survey (takes about 2 minutes) about what kind of socks you’d actually choose/wear.

Link here: https://socks.fillout.com/socks

It’s completely anonymous, no email required, just trying to understand what matters most to people who actually ride.

Thanks a ton for helping out 🙏 and if you’ve got strong opinions on socks, feel free to drop them in the comments too.

  1. I finished the survey.  You left out the most important aspect of sock choices-the fit.  Most cycling socks are way too small around in the calf.  And women’s sizes usually end at too short of a shoe size.  One size does not fit all, especially if it ends at size 10.  My daily wear, on the bike and for everything, is Viasox wide calf.

  2. I’ve found most socks size quite small and the calves are never big enough. Throughout the summer, I wear 2024 Visma Agu/Nimbl socks, in autumn/winter I switch to Silverlight (https://silverlight.store/socks) which are technically hiking socks but because of their structure, they stay really close to the skin and don’t sag. They’re also warm, dry quickly and are odour resistant which is an added bonus. Oh and they come with a lifetime replacement if ever you manage to wear through them. They’re not cheap but once you try them, there’s no going back
