I’ve been biking for only a year. I bought a hybrid Giant Roam 2 and I like it a lot but I’m thinking it’s time to branch out just a little bit. I ride probably 80% gravel maybe more. Trying to be comfortable for rides over 30 miles. I’m 56 and have neck arthritis so drop bars seem out of the question. These two bikes seem to be the best option for my next ride.
Love the color and steel on the Surly, although the green one has better components.
The Marin seems to have higher specs, more gears through axles and hydraulic brakes.
They are within spitting distance pricewise, but which one will I like more?
