Okay, so I know that rain on the face doesn't bother most people, but it makes wearing makeup impossible and I commute on an ebike everyday… I've been looking for some sort of shield I could try out – although I am concerned about fogging.

I found this on Amazon and I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with something similar: https://www.amazon.com/Jackson-Safety-Premium-Detachable-Anti-Fog/dp/B087F1J9BC/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

  1. Caribou-nordique-710 on

Depends on the temperature and if you have to stop at lights (humidity from your breath will be trapped by the shield, go up and fog the interior of the lenses)

I’ve tried single wall goggles (without mask) that works to about freezing point and double wall ski goggles that works below (as long as you don’t cover your mouth when you’re not going forward)

  2. The problem with that mask is that you’ll probably still have rain running down your face from under your helmet in a heavy downpour. Something that may be worth trying is a rain cover for your helmet, to keep the rain out (unless you’re wearing a rain jacket with a large enough hood to go over your helmet), plus something like a wide brim attachment for the helmet, such as the one made by Da Brim.

I know that face mask says “anti fog”, but I can’t imagine it not fogging up when I’m breathing heavily and it’s pouring out.
