All right. Hello everybody. Today we are going to check out this awesome little medieval village about an hour and a half southeast of Paris called Tua, spelled T R O Y E S Tua, France. And check this out. We’ve got Chloe and Ginger with us today. The kids sat this one out. Uh we were just in Paris yesterday. So now we’re going to check out Tua. And I really love this this place because it does have the highest number of it’s got the most um halftimber houses out of any town here in France. And uh if you know me, I absolutely love timbered houses. So I’m really excited to check this place out. Oh wow. Already I’m impressed by this place. This place is really cool. And we’re going right into the heart of the city. Oh, we didn’t see that. What an awesome looking place. Wow. All right. So, TW, here we go. This is so cool. There’s a brassery and a bar. This little candy shop. Wow. Just take a look at this, man. I love the architecture and just the the vibe here. I’m just already in love with this place. And again, this is another place where no matter how many videos you watch, just doesn’t quite do it justice. This is uh a truly magnificent looking place. And I’m losing like I had a couple that I brought with me, but I need a litter box for my bedroom and she’s my litter box. All right, so we’re going to walk a little bit further into the town. This is just such an awesome place. Oh my god, I’m absolutely in love with this place. Wow, check this out. This is such a charming town. I feel like I’m in a fairy tale. Wow. There’s some restaurants. We just passed a coffee shop. Here’s another restaurant. Just wow. There’s a pasta place. I love the architecture here. Just the overall layout and the vibe is just awesome. Some shops This is just such an awesome town. I’m going to come back and explore a little bit more here a little bit later. We’re going to go look at some of their houses. Here’s the grocery store. The market terminal. Oh, wow. Zero, honey. Sure. All right. Yeah. This is a awesome pet friendly cafe and eery here in Tua. This is a dog friendly cafe. Totally cool place. We’re going to go back into the center city now. I’ll check out this building down here. And that some really interesting architecture. Just a really cool place. Feels like a fairy tale village almost. [Music] There’s the mis cafe chocolier and they’ve got some delicious treats for the thrones and all that fun stuff. Wow. I’m really vibing with this place, man. This is just so awesome. I am thrilled. to be here. Oh, wow. At the counter. Look at this coffees. Oh my goodness. And just look inside this place. This is so cool. Wow. Love this little coffee shop. And they’ve got that selection of baked goods here. And there’s a nice big menu. All right. So, yeah, that is this French coffee shop. This looks absolutely adorable. And it’s attached to this wonderful halftimbered structure. And there’s cat alley right down here, which being cat enthusiasts and dog enthusiasts, we’re going to have to check that out. We’re going to also check this out. And look, they gave us this chocolate marshmallow. My god, look at these. Wow. This looks amazing. We got the Twix, the cookie, and the the biscoff one. Wow. Oh, thank you, Mercy. Wow, this looks amazing. Oh my goodness. Oh my god, that’s so good. Structural issues. And um that’s why I’m saying my parents are the best in the world because we have like Isn’t it somewhat different though being married to a European versus being married to French person? Oh wow. No, not at all. There’s some really good looking sushi rolls here at Cotay Sushi. This is just a really cool place. Wow. I love all these lanterns along the way here. Where’s this? The the second house with the corner. Cool. Wow. This is just absolutely stunning. I am just in love with this place. Wow, this place is so magical. And here’s Cat Alley right down here. Yeah, we’re going to walk through Cat Alley. And there’s the cat restaurant. This is a place where cats were. Oh, and so let’s look at the uh little cat Noir. And here is the menu. This is so interesting. They have burgers and TMEX, burritos, tacos over here. So yeah, we’re going to definitely something to eat. We’re probably going to do dinner here. Oh Let me show you what my dog does around other dogs. No, she’s bad. She’s being bad. Hi, okay. She likes to go nuts at other dogs, but wow. This is the the cat alley. I believe this is it. I could be wrong, but I think this is it. I think it is marked by that. That is just iconic. This is just a cool place to hang out. Cool place to live. It seems like ah wow. This town just takes my breath away. Then again, these these lanterns here just add such a nice effect. All right. And so as you come out of that little walkway, that pathway that we just uh finished, you come out into this beautiful courtyard with all these restaurants. This is just there’s a crepery. So many cool places where you can grab food. And a nice big square here. Look at these plants. I just Wow. This is just oozing with charm. Oh my. Just imagine. Just make do with the space, man, and live here. That’s what I want to do. So, we need a lot of space where we live. We got a family of five. But I couldn’t imagine just living here. How awesome that would be. I’m trying to talk my wife into it. Wow. This is just beautiful. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Uh, uh-uh. No. He’s bigger than you, Chloe. No. Man, she wants to to fight that dog right there. No. No. No. Doesn’t like it. Let’s go this way. Come on. Let’s go. Go that way. I am just in love with this place. It’s just its own thing. It’s not quite like Paris. It’s its own thing and I love what it is. This is the perfect place for me. So, you got that beautiful carousel. This is where they have the Christmas market in this little area right here. Check out that building right there. So much history in this city as well. [Music] My goodness. La frater. It’s a French fry place here in Tua. And there’s another concession stand, snack bar, whatever you want to call it. Chloe’s found something that she’s interested in. Wow. That gives us two hours. Okay. All right. So, we’re going to have to find something to eat here very quickly. I mean, it’s like a mall out here. There’s the Monopri. And it’s walking 9 minutes from here. Oh, wow. Nine. Okay. All right. I’ll take it. I’ll take it. It’s cool. We’re We’re uh we are seriously considering moving here and we’re arguing over which house we want. Um I want an apartment like right in the middle of all this. She wants a house about 10 minutes away. Um we’re fighting 10 minutes walking. 10 minutes walking. That is a bike. Yeah. 5 minutes on a bike probably. I know we’re part of bikes. Wow. Wow. This row of buildings is just stunning. Here is a sandwich shop here with ice cream and all kinds of yummy goodness. The herabbo dare guy. We see him a lot here in Europe. Chloe. Chloe, you don’t want to mess with that dog. He’s bigger than you. You won’t win that fight, Chloe. No, girl. She thinks she’s a freaking Rottweiler. Wants to picked fights with all the bigger dogs. Chloe’s smelling something. All kinds of shops here. This is just so awesome. Here’s black and white. Black and white. Oh man, burgers. just one through that central room is another Starbucks right there. Another little area for restaurants and a patio. There’s a pizza bar right right across there. I think Chloe likes it here. All right, we just made a full circle. Now we’re going to hit up a restaurant. All right, let’s get on down here. Let’s get on down here. All right, Rosa Parks. All right, so we just made a full circle and now it’s time to grab some food. It’s time for dinner. This is where we did our coffee and it was absolutely lovely. All right. I think actually this is the cat alley right here. This is so cool. Wow. This is just too awesome to put into words. Really? So yeah, this is the legendary cat alley right here. All right. The food smells so good here, too. Oh my goodness. Go see Jeang. I think this is a bar up here. But that is really nice. Some nice music. Some relaxing music here. Oh, it’s beautiful. I mean, just check out the vibe here. This is just so freaking awesome. And here as well. You ready to eat dinner? All right. So, here it is. Leto Pete Tit Coochis. It’s going to be a an interesting experience here. Oh, well, check this out. And then they brought us out these delicious treats. They got us these little doodads here. And I got some bread. Just got a glass of what is it called? Procco. Procco. And I got this cooker that says date on it. And this is cool because we’re kind of like on a date here. So yeah, green, but I mean I think it’s going to be too much for us to afford. All right. And we got this delicious looking salad here. Look at that. This looks amazing. And then we got this. I have no idea what this is. What is this, honey? We don’t know what it is, but it looks good. What we actually got for appetizers. Um, we got that salad and then we got that uh poached creamed that corset. It’s like poached egg. Um, and with that bread, it was really, really good. We just, we absolutely killed it. Oh, man. All right. So, this is our dinner. And this is Wow. Beef tartar with an egg on top and smells it. Deliciousness. Oh, man. Chloe, that up. She’s like, and then we got the scallop potatoes and fries. So, we got two sides. We got one scallop potato, one fries. So, yeah, this looks delicious. Oh my god. I’m I love beef tartar. It’s like one of my favorite things ever. Look at that. Oh my god. Beef tartar. One of my favorites. All right. This is uh some chocolate thing. Um It’s like a chocolate uh cake with like a like a chocolate creamy center. Um it’s really good. I forgot what they call this here, but this looks just absolutely amazing. And then this looks like the uh Yeah, it looks kind of like the thing from All right. What is this now? Ask him what is this called again? Influant. Oh, that looks so good. Wow. It looks like the thing from Austria kind of. Yeah. Austrian dessert is what I’m showing you. It’s like a puffy kind of egg. Like a egg custardy. Egg custardy. Yeah. Looks so good. Wow. We have to finish up with a shot of espresso because we have to drive back to our Airbnb near Paris, right outside of Paris. So, oh man, that was such an awesome meal and a very fun visit to Tuahis. Such a beautiful city. Beautiful medieval town. I love all the halftimber houses and all the shops and restaurants. It is such a cool place. So cool that I would want to live there. That sounds like the perfect spot for me. But, um, yeah, everything we had at the restaurant was delicious. I loved our coffee. Um the uh beef tartar was fantastic. Our appetizers were great. And I also loved our desserts. Those were just fabulous. So yeah, you definitely want to check out Tua if you’re exploring France or in the Paris area. It’s just an hour and a half train ride. Well worth the visit.
