And that’s where we’re heading. about another 11 kilometers or so. 10 or 11 into there. Little group of 12 of us walking in the Austrian Alps. I’ll let you see them. Some of them there. Look at that for a view. Huh? That’s tremendous. Great for winter sports, of course. Oil. Oil. Hey, good or hi Scott. Good Morgan. What’s up? So for us it’s good maybe afternoon for us. 10 past 1 in Austria. Yeah. We shout oil in our club. This is Eastco Ride eating club. some members of them anyway. And air tradition in this club, which is a Scottish club, is if a car is coming, we’re walking along a road, we shout oil. And that has now translated to mean bicycles as well. Sometimes even people coming the other way of people are walking fast, overtaking us, wash out oil. So the rest will make way. It’s been a great walk morning. We started it by going up the cable car from Salach. So, that was a good start. That got us up to about 1,800 m. And we’ve been walking round about that height all day so far. Yeah, total distance today approximately 12 kilometers which is not too bad. Ups and downs. Quite hot actually. The weather forecast today was cloudy and sunny and that’s how it’s proved to be. Yeah, it is quite crisp. Yeah, we stopped for a little lunch break at a a cafe restaurant not far far from a cable car station. Very pleasant place. Hello Eric Alan, how are you doing? It’s when I have to stop and stand in a queue as in an airport queue for example for they’re not good for standing in but they are hiking boots, not standing boots. So yeah. Yeah. We’re now descending into the trees. Earlier the the views were absolutely spectacular. Like a toblone advert. Snow on the peaks. Jawdropping beauty. We might see a bit more actually when we go around this corner. We might see over the trees again, but today it’s roasting. I looked at the weather report on salac.com website this morning. They have webcams in various places up and down the valley and they can tell you you can see what the weather’s like at the time and they give you a weather report. The weather report said starting at 5°. More oil coming. Starting at 5° and going as high as 26 oil. I think you can hear that oil coming. I don’t know. Maybe you can see some of the peaks in the distance now. Zoom in on one foil. I’ll just stop for a second. Gone. Don’t know. Scott, you’re probably still there, are you? Nice. Beautiful, Iraham. There we go. Thanks for looking in, Ibrahim. I think we may be zigzagging all the way down the hill. Or maybe not. Maybe takes a turn up the hill for a bit. Yeah, takes a turn up. There you are. Opening up a bit for you for views. Wow, look at that. Wow. Let’s go down a bit. Get it from further down. We’ll see further along. Right. Long as I don’t lose my grip cuz I’m the deputy on this hike. So, I should really be up in front of the back marker, but I’m not. However, here we go. You want to see some views? Look at that. Isn’t that gorgeous? Yeah. Somebody at the airport, girl at the airport was mentioning it’s an anniversary of the making of the Sound of Music. So on the way up, we passed by that cable car station up to the top and then we did our walk round and we’ll pick up the middle cable car station this time to finish off the trip back down into the middle of. So back. Okay. Well, I’m finding this quite tough. So, I’m going to Thomas R say cheerio. I’m going to finish off this live stream. Put all this goubbins back in my pockets and use my sticks to help get up this slope. It’s quite difficult onehanded. So, thanks very much. Sorry for that person who’s looked in.
