I didn’t even know this thing was on my bike until it fell off and lodged between my spokes. (I’ll keep using the smaller guy I keep in my repair kit that comes with me from bike to bike)
FYI your left pedal should be facing upwards when you fold it, with the other pedal just tucked behind the front wheel.

Me too. I switched to mks ez superior removable pedals. Â Non risk of hitting the pump or frame and i just like the bigger platform more.Â
Those brompton folding pedals are only one upped as terrible by the pentaclip.
I advise to change to quick release pedals, it could be brompton superlight pedals or MKS quick release pedals. I also have the first models of the Brompton P line (storm gray) that came with a folding pedal. I changed to a quick release pedal. Greetings.
