I'm on the verge of buying a new Cannondale Topstone carbon 3 in deep teal from a LBS and I'm wondering if anyone has ridden topstones in recent years?
I've read some issues with the cranks and BB's failing, but it looks like right now those elements have been fixed. (Threaded BB and a shimano crankset.
Are there other issues to look out for?

One issue is shimano related – that problem is solved.
The BB issue somehow only applied to cannondale having probs with BB fittings. From an engineering standpoint I cannot see how threaded BBs should be better than pressed ones, as the bearing will more likely to fail, because they have to be designed with smaller balls or thinner rings, as the thread needs a good amount of the diametrical space.
What does this tell us about cannondale frame engineering? – I drew my conclusions 😉
