This looks like a budget bike which isn’t really designed for off road. I would be looking for a 1 x drivetrain and decent brakes. You can change tyres. The wheel set is probably heavy and maybe odd sizes and the fork is a generic suntour XC fork, which will be heavy and not very good. See if you can find a better spec used bike for the same money.
