Pulled an old BioPace Triple crankset off an old Trek Mountain bike in my garage.
Now this old Peugeot has some decent climbing gears to get up to these beautiful trails.
I wouldn’t know. I haven’t needed more than 38T since I turned 40.

I Love triples. always have extra. I’d ride a 4×20 if they made it.

Do you friction shift the front derailleur? I like triples just fine, and they’re much more likable if you can trim your shift. Edit: Love your rack BTW, it’s an awesome choice for that bike.

The range is pretty incredible. I once passed a group of cyclists walking up the highest elevation in my city all fitted with double road sets and they exclaimed of my impeccable strength and superior fitness. My secret weapon, 28 X 28 on the triple
