Bought some maxxis dhf and dhr2's in 27.5 x 2.5/2.4 on a discount/decent price. But they are exo dual compound. I previously had been running Schwalbe magic mary/big betty, both in 2.4 in the gravity addix soft but after fitting the maxxis, the sidewalls feel very thin and soft compared to the schwalbes. Did I make a mistake in buying exo? Reason (other than price) to buy the maxxis is because I have a spare wheelset so its easy to swap over wheels when the weather conditions change. I ride trails and woods with jumps in and bike parks, based in the south east UK. Oh and I wanted tanwalls as I love the look of them!

hello! nice bike! i’m looking to get one myself but really have trouble with the sizing. this one seems quite large. can i ask your heigh and the size of the frame?
Going from gravity to exo 2c is a big step down in terms of how you want the bike to perform in descents and high load situations. Those are basically the OEM/worst spec maxxis dhf/dhr.
