Well, the the the graphic is saying it’s Ulleio. I’m not sure. I’m not actually sure at the moment until we see a little bit closer together. Was in that groupio Victorious having a great day either way. Fred right desperately trying to hang on. He’s working over the top of the bars to try and stay with these two. Very, very strong breakaway. They’ve got a chance of surviving here. It’s Bastion Tron Shawn for Dathon as you desire. Julius Johansson, the big Dane for UA team Emirates and Fred Wright. What chance a British rider on the final stage at the moment? The best chance of that coming is looking like it’s Fred Wright here for Bahrain victorious. Meanwhile, back in the bunch, there’s a little bit of looking at each other again. Um, is Rondell going again? Yes, he is. Yeah. And I wonder whether Rondell is doing this to soften things up for Julian Alfip. It’s just cuz he’s got good legs as well. I need to remind people though, the only bonus seconds on the line are 10, six, and four. If these three stay away, they’ll take them and it’s irrelevant. It doesn’t really matter. So, actually, if you want to get a jump on that man, Roman Gregoire, there’s a conversation here going on with Tom Globe and Roman Gregoire there, which is quite interesting. Um, you’re going to have to take either the bonus seconds or get actual separation on Ro Roman Gregoire. And I don’t see that coming now, Hutch. So, in a way, if there if someone like Zula and Philippe is to get the 10-second bonus and beat Roman Gregoire, which is a big ass, they’ve got to catch these three riders. Well, we’ve shelled most of the fast men out of this group. So, we can end up with a sort of a kind of a GC type climber type sprint, and that’s a lot less predictable. If this was a big group coming in, you’d be looking towards the kind of the known sprinters to be taking the taking the bonus seconds, but most of them aren’t here anymore. It’s a pretty run straight run in now into Cardiff. In fact, a very straight run in as they go past the main Belladrome. We need to pick up the point at which that comes. It’s around about now actually. But we’re focusing so much understandably on the acute action at the front of our Pelaton. It’s Tom Glo now who’s going again. The uh the British rider, the 23-year-old British rider for Visma Bike is finishing this year’s uh Tour of Britain in very very good form. So close to winning yesterday on the back wheel of Remco Evol as well. Fred right now tucking down on the front of this very powerful three out front and really in a way you have to say the most powerful of those three have survived that fourman breakaway hutch as well. Globe now on the front and they’re hanging out 17 18 19 seconds 3 km to go. It’s absolutely in the balance. It depends what happens in this group. There are riders getting back on the back of this group. So you got to ask who is coming into the back of that group or any of the sprinters getting back on. Notably, we’ve talked about a Malopa with good reason. Is Matthew Brennan on the back of that group? No. Yeah, very good question. It’s AJ who does the turn. Now, it’s a turn from the man who finished fourth at this year’s Tour to France, Tamman Aaron. It is a nice homecoming not just for Garrett Thomas, but for Inos Grenaders. Um I think Ko is in there. Right. Okay, that changes things entirely, doesn’t it? The best sprinter in this race, winner of the first two stages, Olaf Koy in there. So, what do they do now? Does Matty Brennan work for Olaf Koi? It’s actually irrelevant, Hutch, if they don’t catch these three. Catch the three first, then we press the reset button. 16 seconds is the gap we’re seeing right now on this final stage. And one rider from Israel, Premier Techch, doing a turn there possibly to set things up for Brady Gilmore. I’m not entirely sure who that is. Let me have a look down now. It looks like it is Brady Gilmore. Is it? No, it’s Blackmore. Blackmore. Yeah, you’re right. So, Blackmore is working for Gilmore here, I think, because he stands the best chance in a sprint like this, unless they put anyone else in there. Matty Brennan is in there and Olaf Koy. Oh my goodness me. Oh my goodness me. If they if they catch these three then it comes down to being a very very select and illustrious sprint for this final stage win here. But they’ve got to catch them. And these are three riders you really are going to struggle to catch. Bastian Shron has been so strong all season for Dathon as you desire. And then you’ve got Juno Johansson and of course Fred Wright who is super motivated to see if he can get his first tour of Britain stage win the Brit. That’s a small group H isn’t it? Bearing in mind you got the two best sprinters in the race. They have done so well to get over carefully mounted and in this group Sam Watson is there too the British champion now. Watson has got Brennan on his wheel. Oh my goodness me. This is going to be a fast finish if they can catch the three though. I’m not sure which one I want to happen. Oh, I’m always team breakaway, but this is good. This is going to be a thrilling finish if they come in here. And Graama desperately wanting these three guys to stay away. That’s what Grapama, FDG, and Roman Gregoire want any more than anything in the world is for that break to stay up the road. Oh, and that is why Inos I wonder why Inos Gren was working so hard. I was starting to think what it was. It’s for Sam Watson, the British champion. One of the best sprinters in here. He was right up there on stages 1, two, and three. Sam Watson. In fact, of course, it wasn’t until we got to Burton Dacet Country Park. He just led a little bit too soon coming into that finale. He’s got Remco Evnapole alongside him. Remco reminding us in interviews yesterday how much he enjoys sprinting. Not just being good at it, but actually enjoying it. He is sitting in just behind his own teammate. Matthew Brennan bringing Matty Brennan bringing Olaf Koy forward. Yeah, now that is interesting. Matty Brennan led out Olaf Koi for the stage one win. They’ve got to catch the breakaway if it’s going to happen though. AJ August has done most of his work. The Inos Grenaders American at the very very back back here. These three must know they’re coming. They cannot afford to mess around. Bastion Tron having a look over his shoulder as well as they come into the finish here in Cardiff on this final stage of the tour of Britain. Fred right last wheel. Fred Wright from here probably needs to try and jump these two and I think that’s what he’s going to do. Here he goes. The British rider for Bahrain victorious. Oh my goodness. It’s not entirely snappy. He wants to wind it up. They could be starting this sprint as soon as the bunch are on them. And yes, they are. Fred Wright leading British champion, former British champion knocked on to take the win. But Olaf Koy comes and when Olaf Koy comes like that, very few come off his wheel. Olaf Koy from the front to the back of this race. Winner of stage one in South Wall, winner of the final stage now in Cardiff. Oh, you never write him off, do you? The best sprinter in the race. And now he’s got three stage wins. The last time he was at this race, he took four. This year he’s taken three including the final stage.

  1. What a bad helicopter video at the last sprint moment, instead of showing including the peloton closing to the 3 guys, it was only zoomed to leading guys all the time and then suddenly they are been swallowed and beaten by the peloton.

It would be fun to see the scene of closing the gap and then the sprint would give sense

Not comfortable to see the way they edited it.

  2. Tour of Britain needs completely gutting. Some of the worst racing you see across the calendar. No interesting finishes or long mountain stages. Why? We have the varied terrain for some incredible racing but the stage organisers won't give it us. Yet they wonder why their boring race isn't economically viable.

  3. We need to rethink Tour of Britain, it is such a sub-par Tour because it's all for sprinters. I have no idea why the likes of Remco, Onley and others even bother coming because they've got such a slim hope of winning. Sure we haven't got alpine passes and I do wish we had built more roads up our big mountains rather than being boring but we do have some great mountain passes that could create a proper GC. When was Bealach Na Ba or Great Dunn Fell last used for tour of Britain? Come on, let's do better!!!

  4. Are the three breakaway riders ok in head? The literally throwing the stage win in thrash😂they lost probably 5-8 seconds due to not pushing watts, but looking back many times like womans omg🤦
