What are some outfits making these builds, can they be bought somewhat complete? Read some posts saying the Ti brompton really wasn’t even made all “that” well and so could be lighter like these, I’m aware titanium has to be thicker in some areas than steel etc etc. [https://www.youtube.com/c/BromptonTraveler](https://www.youtube.com/c/BromptonTraveler) This guy has put some serious miles into his brompton but i havent seen which model he uses. What is the safety rating like of stock brompton hi tensile steel vs stock steel+ti vs T-line , vs cromo or ti or hybrid clones? Has anyone put the T-line through these kind of torture tests? I don’t think i really need this level of strength anyway and a brompton around 5 kg / 11 lb is right up my alley anyway, and I could maybe put on stuff like carbon rims, Berd dyneema spokes, wireless shifting? To drop even more weight. Actually currently i am 240 lb / 108kg but I am dropping weight pretty rapidly so maybe my final weight aroudn 200 / 90kg as far as what the bromp would need to support. I just think this would be super super fun and it’s worth a lot of money to me as I could fit it smaller than a tern in a car and use it all the time and avoid theft by taking it into businesses more.
