Tyre is on its way out so only has a little life left in it /s (completely cooked, DW I'm not riding on that)
So it's my cheap run-around bike that I leave locked in sketchy places so I don't want to spend big on tyres as I want it to be something I don't have to worry about.
Is this just badluck or should I not trust cheap tyres?

Gatorskin is tough if you’re not trying to win La Vuelta
My go to is always Schwalbe Marathons for my commuter. They’re not cheap, but last at least twice as long as anything else, so that goes into the value calculation.

Hop on AliExpress and get some cheap tyres
Panaracer Pasela is a cheap, good tire that the commuting community talks about often. I haven’t run them personally, but I am a big fan of their GK line of slicks in 26c and I haven’t met a Pana tire that I didn’t like so far and that spans quite a few models at this point.
