Like many, my 2023 Grizl seatpost started creaking after about 200mi. Had a long, brutal descent where I ended up sitting down harder than I wanted to – punched the seat straight down to the tube, destroying the integrated sleeve. Had to wrench the seat out to get the plastic sleeve out. I’m a heavier rider (225lbs) so I may face this issue again 🙄
Now trying to install new one myself.
Recommendations on epoxy types and how best to secure it to frame? I read one rider who removes his seat couple times a year and cleans out the tube and post to make sure the connection is tight.
Advice?

Shoutout to Canyon who once I was able to get ahold of someone, sent me a replacement sleeve immediately. Just didn’t include any directions besides, “yeah dude stop sitting down so hard.”
Do not put epoxy on your seat post (unless you’re referring to the sleeve?)
Apply some [carbon assembly paste](https://www.amazon.com/Park-Tool-SAC-2-Assembly-Compound/dp/B005Z4BAAK/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1AGBMIGTT4TXD&keywords=carbon%2Bassembly%2Bpaste&qid=1697578827&sprefix=carbon%2Basse%2Caps%2C211&sr=8-2&th=1&psc=1) and torque to spec. The carbon paste should prevent slippage, but still allow you to adjust it when loosened.
