Hi everyone,
I recently got a new Canyon [model: Grizl], and from the very first rides the seatpost has been creaking quite noticeably. All bolts are torqued to spec, and I applied the red Canyon assembly paste before installing the seatpost into the frame.
Has anyone experienced the same issue with this seatpost design? Are there known fixes or tips to get rid of the creaking for good?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you swap clamp around?
I experience this after about every 500km (first time was earlier). It’s not cool but I deal with it.

I don’t think you can get rid of the creaking for good. Besides buying a static seatpost.
You can try using more carbon paste or even buying a different brand of the paste if everything else fails.
I filled mine with copious amounts of grease and it shut the fuck up for the rest of the summer
Yeah grease between the seat post leaves and I have to redo it every ~1000 miles
I have the same bike and this shit creaks like crazy lol. Had to redo it after like 200km. Now it‘s quiet again but for how long? I need to do it properly one time
I have two friends and we have 5 Canyons together. If the seatpost doesn’t creak, it’s not a Canyon!
