It’s just so steep, just so relentless. Not here just yet. Firmly believing in the chances of Jaomea. And they believe if they want Ja Ma to either win the stage today or to gain some time in the general classification on his biggest rival Yonas Vinger, they need to make the stage hard. over the top of the Porto San Lorenzu. This category 1 climb coming with 10 points. The breakaway have 3 minutes and 24 seconds intact. It’s James Shaw, the British rider from EF Education, Easy Post, who has flown the nest trying to gain some time. He’s taken the points at the top. [Applause] Job well done. He’s helped Jao Alida significantly on that climb over the Sun Lorenzo down the descent as well. Now it’s the arrival of Mikuel Burg who’s dropped back from the breakaway and look at how the big Dane gets himself another big acceleration. Mikuel Burg he takes over at the front of this group 316. Meanwhile, it’s Tim Van Djker who sits second wheel. Jayvine comes back. Marker and Johannes Stone here. The duo going all out trying as hard as they can to distance the rest of that breakaway group they were part of before. Stered having to give up. Can’t follow the pace of Mark Solair who is now going solo with 15.8 8 km to go. He’s straight onto the radio radio. Johannes admits it because behind he’s got Bruno Amarai and Leo Bissu who are 21 seconds in a rears. I see Fin Peckering even dropping Kevin Var. He’s on a great ride today. He was the rider who instigated the breakaway initially. He was the driving force. check. But here we are now in these hairpin corners. And we’re just having a look if we can see the difference between the different groups. And the bottom of the screen, we can see the group with the red jersey. But how far Jersey make way for the Spaniard to come through. The fans almost block the road. The Atorian flags are flying high. They only want to cheer him on, but he needs to find a way through. Chapo to the man from Cotttingham. He’s caught by a scintillating palatari. And here we go. Here’s the move from Ji Hindley of Red Bull Border Hands Grower. This is what Red Bull Bora Hands Grow been wanting to set up. And with gritted teeth, Almeida has to get himself onto the wheel of the man from Perth. Vingor in red straight onto the wheel. Pitcock is left wanting. Pelari pulls out of the line and Pitcock is struggling to hold on behind. Ricatello is losing time. Gal is losing time. Meanwhile, it’s Jai Hinley who’s putting them under pressure into the barriers. He takes a look around. There’s no one inside. No one who’s going to challenge for this stage victory. Markle is already a threetime winner in his home grand tour at Livewell Espña. He’s going to win at top of the Alto de la Faropona and become the fourth different winner at top of this climb in Atorias. A day in the breakaway a short intense stage just to make the breakaway was a difficulty and he shakes his head. He punches the air and Mark Solair is the winner for UAE Emirates XRG. The seventh stage win for this squad of UAE Emirates XRG. And what a way to do it in incredible fashion. And behind the general classification, riders battle it out. It was ignited by Jai Hinley. And here goes Almeida. Almeida looking to try and take as much time. He breaks Hinley and Vingore is able to respond. Vingore has latched himself onto the wheel of Almeida. It’s going to be a one two on the stage. Is it or can Vingore come through? Vingore takes second on the day. He takes some bonus seconds. Almeida picks up the four bonus seconds. Meanwhile, Hindley left it all on the road. Incredible. What a stage. How this team is dominating.

With all those stage wins, UAE should already have the red jersey. They have several riders that are very strong individually. They are just all over the place hunting for stage win.
