NBD !! Grizl Al 7 – My new daily driver and adventurer. Size XS in darjeeling. Hunt 650b Carbon Wheelset with 48mm Gravelking SK+. Canyon fender set (27.5") . Ortlieb Rack Three, Ortlieb fork, rack & duffel bags in dark sand. Apidura frame bags. Side loader cages. Arudel Looney Bin Cage & tool capsule. Brooks microfibre tape. Maddison flux saddle. Shimano EH500 dual-sided SPD pedals to be installed. Barely assembled a couple hours ago 😅 not dialed in my fit yet, little tweaks & checks to do before test rides tomorrow.
My "first" bike is a carbon road bike, it won GCN Tech Show bike of the week 😊 https://www.reddit.com/r/Bikeporn/comments/13wvyhz/new_bike_day/
My "second" bike has to do everything else I want to do, a "swiss army" bike. That will include a 15mile daily urban commute in all seasons, local errands, day trips road & gravel small bags only, multiday touring or bikepaking. Currently, a Triban RC520 with alu Hunts & 35mm is filling this role. IMO the Grizl brings a lot more specialism, flexibility & spec improvements such as full hydro vs the 520s 'hybrid' system. I prefered the alu as this bike could fly in less than ideal packaging, I also wanted 2by. A set of Zipp 303 S 700c to set up for spring & summer on road, GP5000 32mm slicks

Looks really cool and heavy! Will you use it through winter? I think I’ll park my Grizl when it starts going below 0c.
How is the fenders from canyon? I’m looking for some for my bike. But i don’t know if i want the ones you can’t take off without taking of the wheels.
