  1. Are they still doing that?! Guide brakes had pistons that would expand in the lever and cause this, you’d have to rebuild the lever to fix it. Looks like the same issue

  2. Warranty issue — just had both of my guide TLM master cylinders replaced. Shop was able to get it covered via sram good-will even though I’m 1 year past the 2 year sram parts warranty. I still had to provide original receipt for bike. Just paid shop for labor and fluids.

    Edit: mine was only failing on the rear like yours but I asked for both to be covered since it’s only a matter of time before the front fails too. Sram approved replacing the pair.

  3. I rebuild mine this summer. Buy a metal piston so you don’t have to do it again in the future.
