First time assembling a bike and there's something blocking the wheel. How do I fix this? The bike is a dynacraft echo ridge mountain bike, the cheapest one i could find online because that was my only option. I don't have any other ways of transportation which is why i got this. Can someone please help me with this wheel issue? The instruction manual is useless

  1. Your rim brakes are blocking the wheel – release the tension bolt on the wire so the brakes can be moved out of the way.

  2. Follow the front brake line down from the lever on the handlebars and you will find a (probably silver coloured) metal piece. Push the two brake arms together and unclip this metal piece from the brake arm. The two brake arms will now spread further apart to allow you to get the wheel in.

Don’t forget to reconnect your brakes once the wheel is in place.

  3. Depending on the type of brakes you have there will be a way to relax the brakes to open them up allowing you to attach the wheel.

Can you post a brighter picture which shows the brake caliper?

Remove the air from the tire and it will be easier.
There is a release on your brake to make it open more.
