Guys, welcome to day one in Ireland. I’m Sarah and I just finished cycling 90 days in Shenhen, Europe. And I made it to Ireland this morning on the ferry from France. It was a long but good 17 and 1/2 hour journey over here. The ferry got in at 2:00 and the first thing I did was stop at a restaurant and get some fish and chips. The spot was really good and the waiter was super nice. He said that he’ll check out my live stream later to see if I make it to Waterford. Oh, by the way, I’m also cycling 70 km to the Waterford city today. Today, my path was mostly farm roads, which weren’t super busy, but at some times there was actually quite a bit of traffic. I think it’s cuz I passed by this carnival and I got stuck behind a steam powered tractor at one point. After all the farm roads, I made it to the water. I’m actually taking a quick ferry across here and the views were absolutely stunning. I timed the ferry pretty good and didn’t have to wait long. And actually on the crossing I made another friend and he was giving me some advice for where to cycle in Ireland. So yeah, I made it across and um yeah, it looks like we have a lot of climbing to do cuz there was even a picture of a mountain goat on a sign. So that was a little concerning, but I made it up the hill and into Waterford where I’ll be staying for the night. I made it to the hotel around 9:30, had some dinner, and went to bed. So yeah, that’s everything for today. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Bye.
