You and I have spoken about it already during this welter about even little bits. Oh, and a crash at the front. Wow. Touch of wheels which has brought a number of riders down here in the pelaton. One of those being Ben Turner, Bob Jungles as well as Matthew. Romo wanting to create some more distance, maybe even some separation there with over the top of the categorized two climb of the day. Moistar are very keen to keep this breakaway alive, keep the hopes and dreams of a potential stage victory alive. He’s the rider from Lotto and he’s going to try and get himself involved. The tall Belgian rider on the left hand side. He’s got the edge currently. He’s coming into this intermediate sprint in Barios. But then it’s a head-to-head, shoulderto-shoulder between Mass Pison. He manages to get round the Belgian rider, the green jersey. Mass Pison is going to go through Barios. He’s going to take the 20 points at the intermediate sprint. Just about to pass through in front of commentary position here. They are really racing all out. You can see the grimaces on the faces of all these riders here passing in front. Since then, six riders have broke away. And these are the six riders. Brio Roland, Finley Pickering, Magna Sheffield, James Shaw, Michelle Hesman, and Victor Gernac. And now it’s James Shaw, the man from England in the pink jersey from EF Education Easy Post, who is pushing the pace with 4.7 kilometers to go with this gap at 40 seconds to the main chasers, which is being led by Mark Zair and Juano. We now have the strongest climbers of that breakway still in front. Mark Solair with Juanuso on the wheel and nobody else able to follow. Here we go. The big move from UAE Emirates XRG. Mark has put Juanuso into a position to try and win the stage. Stage 12 of Love Welter. Move. Couldn’t quite do so. He’s still with Brio Roland. And meanwhile, look who’s coming across to Juanuso. Javier Romo of Mauiar has managed to come across to the Spaniard. Two Spanish riders leading the stage team Emirates XRG. It was quite surprising that the moment that Honuso had to go by himself and put his nose in the wind is actually the moment that Tobier Romo was able to come back. How are you? So complaining a little bit asking when Romo is you can tell from the body language how difficult this climb has been over the top of the Cay de Brnees. It’s Javier Romo who takes the 10 points and the six bonus seconds. Juan uso with the four bonus seconds. This is looking encouraging for the two leaders out front. Two riders versus one with an advantage of 50 seconds over the chasers who are starting to fragment behind. This is only playing into the hands of Auso and Romo. It is. We are seeing already some chatting. Panayuso now slowly starting to play for the victory. He knows that there is a lot of pressure on Moar team. There’s a lot of pressure on Cavier Romo. He is starting to play first. Panayuso not wanting to work behind. The chases go through the flam at the back. Bruno Amarai is going to be a big winner today. He’s going to take back a huge chunk of time in the general classification and climb the standings exponentially. Meanwhile, it’s Romo who’s been forced to the front and that’s where he’s going to stay. He wants to try and hold on to the right hand side of the barriers and Auso starts to get himself ready. He’s out of the saddle whilst Romo has to keep an eye over his left hand shoulder. It’s Romo from Vraagga who’s going to open up the sprint and meanwhile Juanuso has got the upper hand. Javier Romo, can he try and come round and deliver the first victory since 2021? No, he can’t. He’s going to be Huano. A bang of the bars and Huano wins his second individual Grand Tour stage victory of this welter. Three victories in total behind Brio Roland holds on for third. Victor Rampan crosses the line in fourth with Mads Person in fifth. Bruno Amarai climbs the standings. never in question. Juana wasn’t able to really get rid of Romo on the climb. Huayuso clear winner, the strongest rider in the sprint here. So, I’m celebrated afterwards with his teammate Mark Solair.

  1. Haha😂 Why is someone ever "forced to the front" as they say. Never raced, but surely a little swerve +/- light brake touch would put them back in behind…?
