Decided to try and leave my my front rack and gravel-pack panniers at home and test some 5.8L fork packs and a handlebar + accessory setup and must say I'm pretty pleased.
With a small frame / headtube the handlebar bag can't be too heavy or it will bounce and rub against the tire, so filling this with beer is not a great choice once you're off the tarmac as I found out.
