I have this rovativ bag laying around and I am going for a tour across the alps, starting on Friday. So as I’m arranging all my bags, I was wondering if it is a good idea to put this bag in front of the saddle. Let me know if you tried.

Does it swing around when your standing or pedaling hard? Also I’m wondering how many bottle cages you have, I don’t feel like one isnt* enough imo
I have a small 1 litre bag there for my camera eqpt and it’s never been a problem.
If you have the saddlebag filled and it is bigger, you could have problems to swing your leg over it and get from the bike, then you would try to move your leg where the rovativ bag is mounted.
I had this problem with big restrap saddle bag and big cyclite top tube bag.
I would move the rovativ bag to the front.
Put that back in your pants!
If you’re not going to be rubbing… do what you need to do.
I have the same type of chainstay protector 🤜🤛
I have problems with a top tube bag there when I’m straddled with feet on the ground.
How tall are you?? I have the same framebag from Decathlon and it takes up my entire bike haha!
No strap at the front means it will be hard to use.
(I tried to shove a lot of double innuendoes in that sentence)
Seriously though. It’ll be hard to open, especially while riding.
Maybe if you wanna smash your pants yabbies….
It’s a good idea until it’s not.
Easiest way to tell is load it up and go for a test ride. You’ll have you answer pretty quickly.
I would wrap tape around the front of it and the top tube
Also I’m curious do you often have chain drops with a 1by?
