Hey Everyone, I recently got back into road riding after taking almost 20 years off. This is my second year back into riding and finding myself ready to upgrade my 20 year old giant bike. I do about 50-100 miles over a few rides each week averaging around 16.5 mph. I’m looking for something lighter, with better hardware and something that will last for a few years and not be outdated. I ride 50+ mile rides more often so looking for comfort as well. I ride 90% road but do go onto hard compact fixed gravel/dirt at times.

Looking for thoughts and if this isn’t the right bike what should I be looking for? Price range I’d love to stay under 2500 but also not against paying a bit more for something solid. Also know this time of year there’s going to be a lot of bike sales, should I wait? Thanks!

Coming from an early 2000’s giant ocr 3 3×8. I’m 6’3 and the giant is a large frame so I know I need something larger most likely
