Picked up this TREK USPS for $190. Shimano Ultegra 9 speed groupset, bike has some rust, but will hopefully disassemble without issue. Seat post isn't seized, but a bit worried about galvanic corrosion in the BB area. Considering building it up with a Dura Ace 7800 groupset + carbon seat post and a more modern cockpit.
From someone across the pond; how sought after are these bikes in the US? Is this basically the same frame that was used on the team bikes?
Apologies for the non-driveside photo, I haven't picked up the bike yet and there is just a bunch of Ultegra 6500 components back there
