For 10+ years i pretty much only used my MTB for short shopping trips around town and shorter distances like one rural town over and such
After recently findig a job that lets me commute by bike again(instead of train) i wanted to finally get the packing-equipped gravelbike i had on my wishlist for a while.
Long story short, the availabilty of company bike leasing and light-assists that feel way more analog, made me go electric. Really practical to sometimes just up the assist and not come in to work already sweaty, especially on a hot day.
The way this setup eats up distance, even when the motor is off, made me really start exploring my county and do weekly touring again, like i haven't done in ages.
Put about 400km on it since getting the first week of August.
tl,dr bike commuting can be a great catalyst to get into even more biking on the days that you don't work
Bike is a KTM Gravelator SX-20 fitted with rack, mudguards and kickstand to make it a more capable daily driver
