Interesting idea for touring / really long distances but it feels like the part out front is too low. Does the inner part hit the top tube?

I’ve only seen hardtails with the vertical classical bar ends on the end or in the middle or even Aero bars for those long distance folks . The ultimate ATB by camping bike touring bike would probably be a hardtail like that salsa Cutthroat or whatever . My question is is there something that exists and the two to $300 used Range that would match that ? Because I can find an old ’90s mountain bike but a lot of those don’t have front suspension and you also have the smaller tires as well

I do something similar, with bar end on the inside, but I miss the lower position under the bar that you have. Really cool setup though, will try something similar.
