On August 30, 2025, I joined the GEO social ride out to Velo Verde. The group rolled nice and steady all the way out and about halfway back. With around 10–15 miles to go, Rob suddenly remembered he had an appointment, apparently, life doesn’t wait for cyclists, so he set off. I thought, “Well, I can’t let him suffer alone,” and jumped on. We absolutely blasted it back to Auburn like two pretend 🥳Tour de France riders chasing an imaginary podium. Rob peeled off toward his home, and I carried on the route, finishing at the end of Brant Road. Perfect warm morning, great company, steady social miles with a surprise interval session, happy days 🙏
