Pins of the chain on the bent bashguard of the sprocket. Half link chains run very close on guarded sprockets, you need to watch out for clearance

I don’t know for sure, but I think your sprocket is a little bent (which isn’t inherently such a bad thing) but your chain looks mighty tight and together that’s a problem

I had some half links backwards the other day and it was fucking with my chain

I had to add a couple of links to the chain so I’m thinking that the answer about the pins is the right answer. Looks like I’m just gonna go ahead and order a new chain and sprocket along with the proper shadow chain tool.
