I’ve been living in Copenhagen for about three years now, after moving here from Belgium. I’ve really come to enjoy the city and its surroundings, especially for cycling, which has been a passion of mine for a looong time 🙂
In recent years, I started taking on longer cycling adventures. Last year, I rode the Granguanche ultra race in the Canary Islands, which inspired me to create something similar closer to home. That idea grew into the Nordic Chase, an ultra-distance cycling event that I organize in my free time. I hosted the first edition 2 months back in June. In 2026, I host the second edition, with two routes from Copenhagen to Oslo, through Sweden. There’s both a road and a gravel version. I spent my holiday mapping and testing the course last weekends, you can see some photos included.
