  1. Am I having a stroke? Where are the spokes and spoke holes in the rim?

Park tool’s recommendation for wheel tolerances are .5mm for lateral trueness and 1mm for radial trueness, and this is especially important for wheels with rim brakes. Definitely get this one trued up or do it yourself with a spoke wrench… once you find the spokes.

Get it trued. My bike was doing the same thing and I started getting motion sickness from the wobbly feeling.

Get it trued, or do it yourself, and get the brake blocks replaced at the same time. Those look very old and are probably perished and won’t stop you.

  4. Both. It’s not unridable but your braking will be so much nicer once you get that wobble under control.

I’ve rode worse. Lack of funds at some point made me buy a spoke wrench. Later I bought a spoke tension meter off Amazon and now am saving the money to get a wheel trueing stand to get better at it. You can true it your self with a spoke wrench and rim brakes or zip ties. And if you can’t figure it out you can still take it to your LBS.

    THIS IS HOW IT STARTS.

  6. It’s at the level where it should be trued, if you go past this much, it will require more work. Be mroe time consuming to true.

  7. Depends on spoke tention in my opinion, if it is a mountainbike and the spokes where tight I wouldn’t really worry, if it was a road bike or city bike I’d true them

Nothing super urgent but it needs truing…you can ride that for sure, but you should get it fixed when you can
