My new bike, cube stereo one22 HPC EX 2024 has some small issues with the brakes.
(Brakes: XT m8120/8100)
(Rotor: Slx icetech freeza 203/180)
(Pads: B03s)
When I bought the bike it looked good, felt good (and it still does) but the front brake was squeeky which I asked about and I was told I needed to bed in the brakes and it would go away after a couple of rides.
Now I've bedded in the brakes so they have a sharp bitpoint and more than enough power (203mm front, 180mm rear) and if I go slow and press the front brake it squeels , the back brake is silent but gives sort of stick sound when releasing and pressing in the brake which seems normal. Now both brakes seem to have good power but the front just squeels like hell and it is just unbearable.
Now the pads when I removed them just to inspect seemed to have a sort of mirror shiny finish at the top, so I got a workshop towel and rubbed it off on there. Bedded in the brakes again and still had the squeel.
Now I wonder are my brakes glazed, contaminated, not really bedded in ?
Please help me out here. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I’ve had this bike for one week and did a semi- trail/xc ride for about 18km and did 15 times of 25km-5km/h brake cycles.
my new bike started squeaking and not breaking at all, went to the shop, and had to change the break pads in both wheels.
After changing it, the first few times used the brake it squeaked, but now is perfect
First thing I would try is cleaning the pads and rotors with brake parts cleaner. Then buff the rotors with Scotchbrite or sand paper. Then rebed them in. If that doesn’t work try a different pad compound. I use cheap metallic pads from Amazon with good results.
Had this issue before & was able to resolve it with the following.
1.) Remove brake pads from calipers.
2.) Stick a spacer in between the calipers to prevent accidentally closing calipers.
3.) Clean brake pads with 70-90% Alcohol
4.) Rub brake pads with 220 grit sand paper (or an emery board) until the shiny finish goes away.
5.) If you have 0.5mm (~ 0.2 in) of the pads left, can clean off the dust from the pads with alcohol.
6.) Clean brake rotors with alcohol as well.
7.) Once everything’s dry, reinstall the pads & re-bed.
