my first road bike, upgrading from a trek verve 3. its lighter, smaller, zippier. i like it a lot! i was skeptical at first because the electronic shifting seemed contrived and it is noticeably harder to balance but after 50 or so miles i’m in love! it climbs like a champ and can coast without pedaling for a mile at a time.
next up is a proper fitting and going clipless!
for anyone wondering i got a small! i’m 5’10 and have a 32 inch inseam. i was right at the tippy top of what canon recommended for a small and i think its a solid fit (tho my seat may need to be slid backwards a hair) especially considering my last bike was way too big for me!

You’re gonna love it! I love mine to death.
But you are going to hear creaking after a while. Don’t worry, it’s the seatpost. Get it out, open it up, clean it and apply new carbon paste (so, also in between the ‘blades’). Happens after every 500k with mine.
