Former Ukrainian parliamentary speaker Andriy Parubiy, a polarising nationalist and outspoken critic of President Volodymyr Zelensky, was assassinated in broad daylight in Lviv on August 30, 2025. The 54-year-old, a key figure of the 2013 Euromaidan protests and later chairman of parliament, was gunned down by a suspected food delivery courier who fled on an electric bicycle. His killing has triggered a nationwide manhunt and widespread political shock, with Zelensky calling it a national tragedy. Tributes poured in from across Ukraine’s leadership, including Petro Poroshenko, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who hailed Parubiy as a patriot despite his controversial far-right past. Investigators are probing motives ranging from political retribution to personal grievance, with officials stressing no evidence yet links the murder to Russia, though its timing during wartime has intensified its political resonance.

  1. Far from far right. You can't erdicate millions of whte slvs and be called far right. He was far glblst. Far puppy of global interests.
BTW people started waking up. Way to go. Both sides RU and UA should take care of their oligarchs.

  2. Some considerations: The video shows that the camera's frame follows the scene. It therefore cannot be a fixed control camera (which, moreover, would have no purpose in framing a street where nothing important is located). It therefore seems likely that the scene shown was intentionally filmed by someone who obviously knew exactly what was about to happen to the victim. The victim disappears behind a tree at the moment of the shot…
