My low-budget, do it all single speed. Built up from mystery parts on a lovely steel frame I got for a pittance – As far as I can tell from the serial number it's a Raleigh from 1982, best guess on the model is a Royal or a Europa. Swapped out the original 27inch wheels for 700c, which gave just enough room at the chainstays for a 35mm tyre. 38t chainring paired with a 20t freewheel makes for a leisurely ride than can handle the local hills. Perfect for getting about town and for heading further afield along the coastal routes.

I like it! Can I ask what those bosses on the forks were for originally? They look very large and specific. Can’t get more local than, “Meet me at the boat spot.”
