Today ie., 30.08.2025 is a Bikeday. StelvioPass is closed for motorized traffic from 8 – 16. Cyclists could safely climb the Stelvio pass. Few pictures::
It did snow last 100-150 metres, was very cold (blame my gear) & return via Umbrail pass.
Thanks to the the organizers on the Italian side for offering fruits, water, warm tea & much more.
It wasn't an easy one for me though!

Am curious about elevation gain
that’s crazy. I rode there a week ago, and there was zero snow. The descent down the Umbrail pass was one of the best I’ve ever had. Midweek, maybe 4 cars total. fantastic ride.
