Young Man, you're a good fisherman. Keep it up, and someday, you just might end up a legend! Seriously, you did a great job of finding those Rainbow Trout, and whatever other types of Trout are there…and you matched your Flies up perfectly, with what these fish are feeding on. I've seen so many Fly Fishermen try to just "Throw whatever they felt like throwing…and, of course, they basically ended up getting skunked. If they DID catch anything, it was a blind bit of luck…or a miracle…. However you want to look at it. Anyway-Great job, and keep up the great work! Tight lines to ya, young fella!!!
Im not trying to say anyone here is wrong but I noticed a few of your comments are saying the fly you used is a elk hair caddis fly and it images caddis, while they are correct on the fly being and elk hair caddis and that it imitates a caddis although they are incorrect that the fly could not imitate a beetle it definitely could as it would also be able imitate a stonefly or some other sort of terrestrial

Good to see you out there fishing again man! Trout are so fun to catch and taste pretty good!
I paid $7500 for my 1958 f100, and its still running strong in 2025. A 100k vehicle having problems in the first month is insane.

Fish
Unlikely gonna catch a bigger fish going to that “slow water” with a fly. That’s not a feeding lie for that type of fish.
