Thinking about taking a quick seaside escape from London? 🌊☀️ In this vlog, we take you along on our day trip from St Albans (near London) to Brighton, sharing the full journey, travel costs, and what we did in a single afternoon.
Here’s how our trip went:
🚆 We started our journey around 12 PM from St Albans City Station and took a direct Thameslink train to Brighton.
💸 Our tickets were booked online just a day before and cost £48 return for two people, which is a pretty good deal!
🕒 The train ride was smooth and took about 1hour 40 mins to reach Brighton.
🚌 From Brighton Station, we hopped on a bus straight to the famous Brighton Pier.
🍴 First stop? Classic fish & chips by the seaside, followed by some snacks while enjoying the fresh sea breeze.
🏖️ We spent time relaxing on Brighton beach, strolling around, and soaking up the summer vibes.
🕔 Around 5 PM, we wrapped up our beach day and caught the train back.
🚗 By 7 PM, we were back in St Albans, picked up our car from the station car park, and headed home.
