Just installed this and I'm concerned with how close this sits to the seat. Just saw a guy on here install a old man divide rack on the same bike and it looks much better. How do you guys feel

Are you concerned with aesthetics or utility? Looks totally fine to me. If you’re planning to use panniers, as long as they’re far enough back they don’t hit your heels while pedaling then the farther forward the better in terms of weight distribution.
Enough clearance over the tire, no dropper = no issue.
