All great tips and a great video, thanks from a relatively new cyclist who has joined a Ladies cycle group. (Top tip).

THANKS

Another inspirational video Amy , such a joy to watch x
Kyle Always looks hangover lol
Hi Amy using bike lights during the day as you did in the gloom of November and into winter will no doubt save lives as well as bright fluorescent and reflective clothing, it might not look cool but better than being injured or worse, happy to see your getting new brighter winter clothing. Great channel Amy, very inspiring.
Great video again, some really helpful tips, best thing I ever did was join "Breeze" rides for women, best friends I ever made. Nice to see Kyle cheered up after his morning grumps 🙂🙂
Hello dear,
I hope you are well. I'm a personal YouTube thumbnail designer, and I'm passionate about creating engaging, brand-focused thumbnails for your channel. My goal is to create designs that enhance your content and attract more visitors.
If you want, I can create a sample thumbnail for you to review first. If you are satisfied with this, we can discuss future work opportunities.
Not only bring the necessary tools to fix a puncture but learn how to use them. My beginner’s tip!
Where’s your dog
Top tip: Learn about primary and secondary road positioning in order to keep yourself safe around traffic. And remember the thing that cyclists are most often doing when they are involved in a traffic incident is turning LEFT, from a major to a minor road. It is not something you probably would guess, and you can learn how to do it skillfully from and Nationally Recognised Cycling Instructor who specialises in riding in traffic.
Kyle got the hat!
If Kyle wants to do tricks, he should purchase a BMX bike rather than wreck his Pinny! I'm sure his antics on the road bike will end in tears one day. Nice vid!! Cheers, Pjw
I thought that Bavarian place was a restaurant or something. Kyle gets to ride with bike babes all the time fair play to him.
the colnago is zo love
My tip for what it’s worth…try to avoid riding in the big chainring and bigger rear sprockets or small chainring to smallest sprockets as this puts the chain at a severe angle! I felt for Ellie’s jockey cage which looked like it was at its limit 13.30.Lovely Colnago though
What a good bike enjoy the ride and the weather as well keepsafe everyone….
Dont be too dismissive of black clothing! A cyclist in black, riding in the countryside in daylight conditions, really contrasts against the surroundings. In dusk or dark conditions and urban environments this might not he the case however. 'Hi viz' isnt the cure-all solution people think it is. The typical hi viz yellow/green colour blends in perfectly with brightly lit leaves for example and I also find that many road users suffer from 'hi viz blindness' whereby they assume someone or something wearing hi viz is either not moving or moving slowly, e.g. road workers, pedestrians, horse riders, road signs etc and I think there is so much hi viz around these days that it doesnt stand out any more. Other bright or unnatural colours do more IMO and the best way to be seen is through good lighting and also reflectives, which stand out much more than hi viz in gloomy or dark conditions. Most black cycling gear also has reflective panels or features these days. After 30+ years of cycling daily, I tend to avoid traditional hi viz clothing these days because of the number of times other road users still claim to have 'not seen' me! I wonder, if all vehicles had to be painted hi viz too, would all traffic accidents stop? 🤔 😂🤣 Nope!
Is that a beginner’s bike? Wow!!
Dude is pretty grumpy, bring some positive energy of some sort.
Beautiful nails ellie
Nice roads you have there, I’m in London it full of potholes and millions of huge cars the idiots can’t drive ! Jealous 🙄
Hi Amy, just letting you know that your book has made it all the way to Australia. I just turned 60 and my wife bought it for me as a present. I am only a few pages in so far and have already gained a useful perspective on my anxiety. Cycling and swimming have been really important aspects of my treatment and got me out of the house when I was at my lowest. Keep up the great work!
My tip, do your helmet straps up properly… 🙂
Was he happy to go ride with you or not?🤔🤣
Go Amy and Kyle, another great fun video, the banter is pure gold! 👌
I tried chilled coffee on a cold bike ride and I don't like it.
Here’s simple tip from a cyclist of 50years.Don’t wear black!
Love the Colnago those hubs 👌🏻❤️
How is Kyle still liking his F7? I just got one last week, but due to bad weather in my area i have only been able to ride it once so far.
That's why road cleats suck… they're too delicate and awkward. Why aren't you on gravel cleats???
The problem with experienced riders giving tips to beginners, is that, really, you forgot what it's like to begin. No? I mean after riding a few years, do you actually remember how weak and sorry you were when first starting? I could barely do laps around the neighborhood and now I can barely fathom someone so pathetic.
Do you guys watch Berm Peak? Check it out, you may enjoy it.
There is something strangely attractive about women who like tools. And a little humorous. Come on gents! You guys know what I'm talking about 🙂
If you go to the garden store you can buy a pump sprayer, like for bug spray. Fill it with hot water after a salty ride and spray your bike down. Nothing beats heat for dissolving salt out of your bike crevices.
My tip is work on your fitness before you join a club.
Take a banana in case you get hungry.
I put Ribena in my water bottle it's better than plain water.
Take cash as well as card just in case.
Hi Amy – You both are amazing! Thank you
have you ever seen a ufo
This vlog is Eggsolent and thanks for the info 🤣🤣
"I met her when I got hit by a car"
It's shit like that that puts me right off cycling on the roads.
Thanks Amy, some useful tips there. I'm a runner aged 52 who recently got into cycling whilst recovery from an injury. My first time on a bike since I was 18 or 19 and boy did it feel strange. Fun though.
You got Ellies number or what?
I've been using female bike saddles for years…..real comfy…..
'Ull' east yorkshire.
How are you two not sisters?
I miss these roads 😢 The flat lands of Cambridgeshire don’t compare to this.
Kyles a miserable git isnt he?
Do you lock your bikes up at cafe stops?
Your channel is so great : ) But I hate you, because you make me go bicycling in 123F weather here in Las Vegas, only to feel terribly exhausted afterwards. But no worries, it feels great 20 min later, having done the exercise I should be doing every day 🙂
