I just got this Rockrider 740 from Decathlon the other day.
The bike is fine and rides great but I've noticed there's a big gap between the preloader and the frame. You can also see a little grease in between.
It's a Truvativ crankset with a dub bottom bracket.
I've googled this and a few similar posts on Reddit show up about the dub bottom bracket having a big gap (but they seemed to have a larger gap between the preloader and the crank arm).
Should I take it back to the shop to check? I've had mixed experiences with Decathlon mechanics in the past but this part comes assembled from their factory – not from the shop.
There's no lateral play.
Thank you in advance for any help!

I have the same bike and it’s like this too, so I guess this is normal
