US – Found this on local marketplace, comes with everything in the picture. I checked it out in person and it's in decent shape – has been sitting for a few years due to the owner losing the ability to ride it, moderately used beforehand judging by the tires and chain. I was able to pump up the tires and give it a few spins around the block and it rides decently smooth for sitting for so long. Rear cassette has a little bit of rust, and everything needs a bit of lube. It was stored in a finished garage so mostly just dust over the years.
This will be my girlfriend's first bike for getting around town and light fitness. She is torn between getting something used like this or just ponying up for a new bike, as she doesn't want to spend too much money since she is just getting started in the sport. She has been looking at the Liv Alight, for comparison.
Does this seem like a good deal or too much? Thanks.
