Had a van go into the side of my bike. I'm fine but bikes forks are mangled as pictured. As Bromptons are made with such close tolerances can they repaired or does it need replacement?
Depends on the damage, but typically it’s a replacement as there will be more than the fork when a mechanic looks at it

I’d sell of parts that are good and buy another.

Yes, but depends. I had a car pull out in front of me and bent my frame pretty badly. Needed a new fork and frame. Oddly the wheel survived.
I was able to get a new frame from Brompton at a reduced rate. New color, but I was okay with that.

I had a bad dooring accident but thankfully my body got between the bike and the car door and the Brompton came away with a front wheel needing trueing, and a shattered rear fender. Pretty insane really. Was going about 15mph to complete stop. Hardy little bikes.

I’d look at having the bike replaced via insurance, and use whatever is left for parts.

I had a similar accident. It is likely that the aluminium fork took all the damage and protected the steel frame, in which case it’s a reasonably cheap repair (cost me under 200€ for fork + front wheel replacement). I’d have the frame checked by a pro though.
