That's my brother. He has been constantly cycle touring for more than four years now. Germany to North Cape, through eastern Europe, Alps, British Isles, west coast of France, Pyrenees, then a ship from Barcelona to Florida, southern USA, New York, crossing Canada to Vancouver, Las Vegas, then ship from LA to Brisbane, looping Australia (where he visited me in WA!), ship from Sydney to Singapore, and northwards in a straight line (Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, China). Next stop Ulan Baator.

Before the "must be nice to be rich comments" come in – they are not wealthy. A few years of very frugal living saved them some money, but they are mostly living extremely low cost. Cycling, sleeping in their tent, food mostly from rubbish containers behind supermarkets. No luxuries.
