I’m looking to add pannier clips to my kids school bags, something that will easily clip on/off the bike.
I’ve seen a similar system on the Hema panniers which are a good universal fit for quite cheap (see photo). Doesn’t need to be super sturdy, it’s for short rides.
Any ideas on systems I could clip onto bags ? I could use press button snapping machine to clip it tight to thick fabric

  1. You can buy pannier hardware made by klickfix and others all over the place. Klickfix are great but expensive.

[I recently made some bucket panniers using some much cheaper hardware i found on amazon](https://www.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/1j9vo3a/diy_lowrider_bucketcoolcave_style_panniers/. They’ve held up well for about 6 months of constant use.

Unless you have a strong rivet gun yiu need to use nuts and bolts to fix everything together. Some kind of stiffening is also advisable to stop the bag flopping about, getting caught in the wheel and causing a crash.

Probably easier all round to fix some kind of crate or basket to the bike and chuck through bag in there.
