in big money making sports (leagues) such as football, american football, baseball,basketball,cricket nobody cares about womens sports if they do they are pretending to be nice and support women empowerment is some way which is a nice thing.
If they paid female athletes what they were worth they would all be starving.

I watch cricket where women play and then the men play after a break. I leave the ground after the women play for a quick meal.
As I leave the crowds quickly build up for the men’s game and can be 10 times as many in the ground to watch the men’s game.
I wish it were not so different but until more people want to watch women’s sport this will always be an issue for pay.
Pay is tied to revenue, if the arena is 70% empty your not making any money.

Men’s spots just bring in more money and revenue. Men’s sports pay for women to be even able to play we also basically pay their salaries. Without men women wouldn’t even be able to play sports
