my final full day on the road before reaching Lisbon.
Today was a beautiful but emotional ride. Quiet gravel roads, small villages, endless views of the coast, and finally the dramatic cliffs of Cabo Carvoeiro. The rocky landscapes reminded me how far I’ve come, and how close I am to the end.
There were no campsites in the area, so I set up for one last wild camp in the woods — my final night under canvas before rolling into Lisbon.
It feels surreal. Twenty days ago, I stood by the Eiffel Tower with my bike packed and ready. Since then, I’ve crossed France, Spain, and Portugal, pedaled over mountains, railways, vineyards, and pilgrim trails. Now, Lisbon is waiting.
