As part of their Food & Drink on Film in Carlisle, the Western Lake District & Coast campaign, Cumbria Tourism are showcasing some of the brilliant food and drink producers across the region, including Growing Well.
Growing Well recently partnered with Cumbria Tourism on some workforce development/return to work training under the UKSPF (Levelling Up) funding made available through Cumberland Council.
Our site in Egremont can help anyone in West Cumbria who needs support with their mental health. Our service offers targeted, professional 1:1 support, supervised horticultural activity, vocational and life skills development. This includes a unique project to safeguard and champion heritage growing skills in West Cumbria.
We also run corporate and Community Volunteering days on the Growing Well Egremont site, where any member of the public can come and participate in our enterprise, support our charity and get lots of wellbeing benefits along the way.
Growing Well West Cumbria is supported by the Copeland Community Fund, the National Lottery Community Fund, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).
